So it's been a while...

Listening to "Roadhouse Blues" by The Doors

Ok, i had planned to do an update for a good couple weeks now but as you can see i never got around to doing so...

The events missed went something like:-
1) Going shopping for spices and souvenirs in town to take up to the states.
2) Graduation from high school.
3) My Prom.
4) After prom/graduation get-together on the beach.
5) Last minute shopping and phone-calls.
6) Last sleep-over for the summer and possible last long phone call with Dan till Christmas.
7) Leaving for the states. Having Dan come see me off at the airport. *grin* David came too.

What i really did want to write about was my prom night... and oh lorsh, i keep planning to, and then procrastinating until well.. my happiness mellowed.

The night was awesome. David was my escort, and was a total gentleman for the whole night (not that he isn't one already without such an event). He pulled out my chair for me, helped me to carry my plates etc etc.. And we danced the night away... literally. My dress was looked pretty. At first i was nervous to wear it because i was finding tiny little faults here and there... but that night it looked perfect. The only downside was my hair.. I mean it looked alright, but it wasn't as good as it should of been and i'm the one who pushed for it.. so it's my fault. But oh well, that's past. The night was awesome.. and anyways the style didn't last for long because my hair fell when i was dancing and i had to borrow Veronique's lobster clip to keep it up.

Both me and David were soaked! I was one of the few that rarely left the dance floor.. AND i only left because it started to rain heavy. During the light drizzle, i dragged Tues out and said "Aw this is the last time we'll get to do this... you're letting a lil rain stop you?". And that's when it started pouring, and since our dresses were white it was highly suggested that we made our exit.

The funniest thing was that David was burnt but he didn't want to admit it. During "intermission" he told Dan (his brother).. "You didn't tell me shellon can dance! Nor that she could dance for this long!" LOL i did tell him if he's tired not to kill himself out on my behalf. I'd survive.

Hmm and for my ego-booster, he said that some boys and stuff were just standing there staring at me dancing. Ok so i knew they were staring. Then Adrian (a friend) came up and was like "WHoA shellon i din know you could dance so.. you break out tonight". Yep *smiles contently*

I'm currently in NY. My first couple days here were bittersweet as i didn't really get to go out nor talk with any of my friends or so... BUT i was staying with family, and some more family had come over for sleep-overs and it was fun listening to them reminisce over their childhood days. I like no better fun than to hear such stories... But i was still bored.

Now i've moved from the Queens to the Bronx by my aunt. Here i get phone access, internet access, friend access, subway access, and having a cousin next-door access.

Anyways.. I have to go in a minute *super grin* Andy just came over to ask me to come over in a half hour to teach me to play Dance, Dance Revolution. He has the dance pad and everything like at the arcade and so on... Yes, Shelli has not seen such technology as yet :P

Imma go and educate myself now.
